The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) invites persons interested in the field of green technologies to access WIPO GREEN, an interactive platform that promotes innovation and disseminates information about green technologies by connecting providers of environmentally friendly technologies and seekers of eco-friendly technology solutions.

WIPO GREEN consists of an online database and a network, which brings together a wide range of key players in the chain of environmentally friendly technologies and innovations, connects new technology holders with natural persons or legal entities wishing to market, license or access and to otherwise distribute a green technology.

This platform is a unique project in that it brings together in one place new technologies, at different stages of development, from research to marketable products. These technologies are available for licensing, collaboration or sale.

WIPO GREEN allows users to seek for products, services and intellectual property objects, based on green technologies, as well as to place requests for technological solutions of interest. Any company that owns a green technology or that is seeking eco-friendly technology solutions can apply for free to WIPO GREEN to place its offer, the searches in the database being open free of charge to all those interested.

We remind you that, in 2020, the campaign dedicated to World Intellectual Property Day, which is marked on April 26, has the main theme: Innovate for a Green Future. The aim of the campaign is to put innovations and the intellectual property rights at the heart of efforts to create a green future, because the choices we make today will shape our tomorrow. The earth is our home and we need to care for it.
