Discover the Newest Inventions at the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT”

Approximately 450 inventions, original innovative projects and creative products, the authors of which come from the Republic of Moldova, Romania, China, Poland, France, Malaysia, Taiwan, Cambodia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Switzerland and Belgium will be exhibited virtually at the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT”, which will take place from November 22 to 24, 2023. The event, which is already in its 18th edition, is organized by the State Agency on Intellectual Property in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research, the Ministry of Culture, the National Agency for Research and Development and the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research The virtual exhibition of inventions will be hosted on the www.infoinvent.md platform.

Details about the program of the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT” were provided during the Press Conference held by the Director General of AGEPI, Eugeniu Rusu, the President of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research, Andrei Chiciuc, the State Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Andrei Chistol and the representative of the National Agency for Research and Development, Victoria Danila.

The participants’ works will be exhibited in 5 compartments: inventions, plant varieties and industrial design; innovative products and services; innovation and technology transfer projects, research projects; creation of youth and creative industries. The presented exhibits will be judged and awarded. The evaluation criteria of the works are established by the Regulation on the Organization and Conduct of ISE “INFOINVENT”.

The official opening ceremony of the Exhibition “INFOINVENT” will take place online on November 22, at 10:00 a.m.

During the exhibition, an additional program of events will also take place in virtual format.

Thus, on November 22, the 6th edition of the International Innovation Conference entitled “Women in Innovation and Business: Inspiration, Involvement, Investment” will take place in online format. The event is organized by AGEPI, in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the European Patent Office (EPO). The innovation conference will bring together experts, entrepreneurs, inventors and researchers from several countries to explore and promote the role of women in innovation and business development in a constantly changing world. The event will cover a wide range of topics, from business innovation and female entrepreneurship, to intellectual property and sustainable development. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in interactive discussion sessions and successful presentations in order to develop their knowledge and expand their contact networks in the field of innovation. On November 23, the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research in collaboration with AGEPI will organize a webinar entitled “Predatory Pseudoscientific Publications as a Risk Factor for Scientific Research”. During this event, topics such as the main characteristics of predatory pseudoscientific publications and predatory editions published by researchers from the Republic of Moldova will be addressed.

On November 24, AGEPI, the National Agency for Research and Development (ANCD) and the Horizon Europe National Office will conduct a webinar entitled “Valorization of Intellectual Property in Research and Innovation Projects Funded by the EU Horizon Europe Programme”. The topics covered will include the purpose and structure of the Horizon Europe Programme, instructions for using the Horizon Europe Participant Portal, how to set up and manage consortia, the process of developing successful project proposals, aspects related to narrative and financial reporting, as well as the importance of following ethical principles and research standards.

According to the exhibition program, on November 24, at 1:00 p.m., the festive award ceremony for the laureates of the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT 2023” will take place.

ISE “INFOINVENT” is a forum of intellectual property, creativity and innovation. The purpose of the event is to support research and innovation activity, to attract investments in innovation and technology transfer activity, to promote mixed projects on valorization and implementation of human creativity results in the national economy, as well as to develop international technical-scientific cooperation.
