The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) announces the launch of the Young Intellectual Property Experts Program. The Program, aimed at underdeveloped, developing and transition economy countries, is designed to discover and promote young people with potential to train the next generation of IP leaders.

Participants in the YEP program will enjoy extensive work experience within WIPO, focused on on-the-job learning, practice in different sectors, areas of interest and interaction with different experts. The program is designed to train them in the technical and policy aspects of IP, as well as train their ability to take on administrative and leadership roles.

As a result of this program, participants will be prepared to contribute to the development of the innovation and creation ecosystems of their countries and regions of origin and possibly become future IP leaders.

The application deadline for this program is October 5, 2022.
