Several partners of the “Technological Transfer Network” (TecTNet) Project Consortium of the European TEMPUS Programme participated in the period 4-5 November 2016 in the Seminar on generalization of TecTNet activities organized by the State University “Alecu Russo” from Balti.
Project partners from the State Agrarian University of Moldova, State University of Moldova, Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi” in Iasi (Romania), Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer, State Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Moldova and Technology Transfer Network of Moldova were encouraged to apply for new projects to strengthen the knowledge triangle education-research-innovation by the Rector of the State University “Alecu Russo” from Balti GAGIM Ion, univ. prof., dr. hab.
During the seminar there were examined the impact of the TecTNet project on the partner institutions and the possibilities for improvement and development of institutional capacities in the field of technology transfer, were specified offers and demands created within the Enterprise Europe Network and prospects of cooperation of the Enterprise Europe Network with offices of technology transfer.
A special place takes the elucidation of the ways to support the OTT activity and OTT staff activity procedures, the strategy of dissemination and exploitation of project results after its completion.
The participants in the seminar reviewed the project implementation reporting methodology and the final report format, pronounced on the quality of work package deliverables, identification of difficulties and solutions to improvement, management of finance, possibilities to apply for new European projects.
The main objective of the project is to strengthen institutional capacities of universities in the Republic of Moldova in terms of knowledge and technology transfer, innovation and intellectual property management. The direct beneficiaries of the project are four universities of the Republic of Moldova: Technical University of Moldova (TUM), State Agrarian University of Moldova (SAUM), State University of Moldova (SUM) and State University “Alecu Russo” from Balti (SUARB). Best practice transfer is provided by the EU partner universities with extensive experience in the field: University of Sannio in Benevento (Italy), Technical University “Gheorghe Asachi” in Iasi (Romania), Technical University of Košice (Slovakia) and Higher Technical Institute in Lisbon (Portugal).
The sustainability of the knowledge triangle education-innovation-research is also supported by the participation in this project of the Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer (AITT), State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) and the local NGO “Technology Transfer Network of Moldova” (TTNM).
