During the period from September 29 to October 3, 2025, representatives of the State Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Moldova (AGEPI), the Customs Service, together with colleagues from Ukraine, made a study visit to Croatia, organized within the framework of the project “Strengthening Intellectual Property Rights in Moldova and Ukraine” (EU4IP), funded by the European Union and implemented by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). The visit was hosted by the Customs Administration of Croatia and the State Intellectual Property Office of Croatia (SIPO).

The purpose of the visit was to strengthen cooperation in the field of intellectual property rights protection at the border and exchange best practices with customs and intellectual property authorities of the European Union Member States.

The agenda included meetings and working visits to Zagreb, Bajakovo and Rijeka, with a focus on the implementation of European legislation on the enforcement of intellectual property rights at the border, the use of the COPIS system for managing customs action applications, risk analysis procedures and the destruction of counterfeit goods.

The study visit provided the representatives of the Republic of Moldova with a valuable opportunity to take over Croatia’s experience in the field of intellectual property rights protection and to strengthen regional cooperation in the fight against trade in counterfeit goods.

În perioada 29 septembrie – 3 octombrie 2025, reprezentanți ai Agenției de Stat pentru Proprietatea Intelectuală a Republicii Moldova (AGEPI), ai Serviciului Vamal, împreună cu colegii din Ucraina, au efectuat o vizită de studiu în Croația, organizată în cadrul proiectului „Consolidarea drepturilor de proprietate intelectuală în Moldova și Ucraina” (EU4IP), finanțat de Uniunea Europeană și implementat de Oficiul Uniunii Europene pentru Proprietate Intelectuală (EUIPO). Vizita a fost găzduită de Administrația Vamală a Croației și Oficiul de Stat pentru Proprietate Intelectuală din Croația (SIPO).

Scopul vizitei a fost consolidarea cooperării în domeniul protecției drepturilor de proprietate intelectuală la frontieră și schimbul de bune practici cu autoritățile vamale și de proprietate intelectuală din statele membre ale Uniunii Europene.

Agenda a inclus întrevederi și vizite de lucru la Zagreb, Bajakovo și Rijeka, cu accent pe implementarea legislației europene privind aplicarea drepturilor de proprietate intelectuală la frontieră, utilizarea sistemului COPIS pentru gestionarea cererilor de intervenție vamală, procedurile de analiză de risc și distrugerea mărfurilor contrafăcute.

Vizita de studiu a oferit reprezentanților Republicii Moldova o oportunitate valoroasă de a prelua experiența Croației în domeniul protecției drepturilor de proprietate intelectuală și de a consolida cooperarea regională în lupta împotriva comerțului cu produse contrafăcute.
