The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) was present on November 9, at an event dedicated to the recruitment of the BEST Chisinau student organization.

The recruitment process runs from 9 to 16 November 2023 and includes several stages, comprising selection, interviews and candidate testing through a Case Study session. Participants who pass these stages benefit from training sessions to develop their skills.

The main purpose of the event is to give participants the opportunity to develop teamwork capabilities and exercise their analytical and presentation skills.

Andrei Moisei, principal consultant from the Communication and Training Division of AGEPI, was present at the opening event, where he highlighted the fruitful collaboration between the institution and BEST Chisinau, emphasizing the involvement in joint projects in previous years. The AGEPI specialist delivered to students a presentation on intellectual property, its importance and ways in which IP can be protected. During the event, Andrei Moisei also proposed an engaging interactive activity, inviting students to participate in the development of distinctive signs and to comment on them based on the principles of the intellectual property field. This approach brought a practical touch to the meeting, giving students the opportunity to apply knowledge in a real context.

Through this event AGEPI aimed to inspire young people to get involved in the development of innovation and creativity, to protect their own creations and innovations and to contribute to the creation of a more prosperous and sustainable society.

BEST (Board European Students of Technology) is a European, non-governmental, apolitical and non-profit student organization, present in 85 technical universities in Europe, with a local group active in Chisinau since 2007. Since its establishment, BEST Chisinau has developed hundreds of technical students, organizing more than 80 events locally and internationally.
