A round table was held on April 21 in online format entitled “Tools for Protection of Copyright on Scientific Results”, organized by the Republican Technical-Scientific Library (RTSL), in cooperation with the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI).
The purpose of the event was to familiarize researchers with the tools of registration and protection of copyright on scientific results. The event was attended by librarians, scientific researchers and doctoral students.
During the round table Andrei Moisei, main consultant, Communication and Training Division, Communication and International Relations Department, AGEPI spoke about the research results - their protection and management.
Also, Elena Bordian, director of RTSL, came with a presentation about the visibility of institutional scientific publications through identification and connection.
The participants in the round table discussed other topics related to obtaining copyright on the scientific product (monograph, scientific article, etc.); mechanisms for the protection of intellectual property rights; intellectual property rights on the results obtained from scientific projects; ways and conditions for patenting scientific results, as well as the representativeness of publications in scientific databases. The online event ended with a question and answer session.
