The Director General of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI), Eugeniu Rusu, presented on February 23, this year, the certificates on the right to use the protected appellation of origin (AO) DEALUL CRAVET to the following companies:

• CLASICVINAGRO S.R.L.,
• DUCATES GRUP S.R.L.,
• RADACINI WINES S.R.L.

The certificates on the right to use the protected appellation of origin DEALUL CRAVET were issued free of charge in accordance with Law No. 66/2008 on the Protection of Geographical Indications, Appellations of Origin and Traditional Specialties Guaranteed, on the basis of the information received from the National Office of Vine and Wine.

The certificates were received by Serghei Preda, administrator of the Public Association Winery Association with Protected Appellation of Origin “DEALUL CRAVET”.

The protected appellation of origin DEALUL CRAVET was registered on May 28, 2022.

It is important to mention that on October 8, 2022, AGEPI submitted the request of the Republic of Moldova to grant protection in the European Union to the DEALUL CRAVET appellation of origin on the basis of the Republic of Moldova - European Union Association Agreement.
