On the request of the State Agency on Intellectual Property at the assistance of the “Assistance in implementation of APC, WTO and Europe-RM Action Plan in the frame of European Neighborhood Policy” Project, It was elaborated the National Strategy in the field of innovation for 2008-2011 and the Actions Plan for implementing the National Strategy.

The National Strategy in the field of innovation for the period of 2008-2011 was elaborated in accordance with provisions of the Code on the Science and Innovation of the Republic of Moldova, and determines principles, objectives, priorities and measures required to edifice in our country of an economy and society based on knowledge. The present document is meant to provide realization of the main scope of the state policy in the field of the science and innovation consisting in the long-term economic-social and human development of the country by highest possible stimulating and valuating the intellectual, scientific and technologic potential, oriented to the creation and commercialization of the modern ecologic pure, competitive products, services, processors, as well as to the values of the open democratic society.
