On 13 April this year, Deputy Director General of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI), Andrei Popa, presented to the cabinet the Draft Government Decision on the Annual Award of the Government of the Republic of Moldova for the Most Gifted Inventor of the yearrr 2015.
Thus, the cabinet has decided to grant the Government Award for the Most Gifted Inventor of the year 2015, in the amount of 10 thousand lei, to corresponding member Tudor Lupascu, Doctor Habilitate, researcher professor, director of the Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, for his work “Technologies for producing activated carbon from domestic raw material”.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip declared in this regard that he supports innovations in all fields, stressing also the importance of investments in science and research to develop the country.
The most gifted inventor of the year 2015 was selected by the jury of the International Specialized Exhibition “Infoinvent”, which was held from 25 to 28 November 2015.
The event, at the fourteenth edition, was organized by the State Agency on Intellectual Property, in partnership with the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Agency for Innovation and Technology Transfer (AITT) and IEC “Moldexpo” JSC.
The exhibition was attended by over 100 institutions in the sphere of science and innovation, higher education, private inventors and creative people from Moldova, Romania, Lithuania, Poland, Iraq and Canada, who presented at the exhibition stands nearly 400 scientific-technical developments, innovative products/services, innovation and technology transfer projects, etc.
