On March 30, at the Kindergarten № 6 “Lastarel” from Falesti, an open lesson was held with the theme “The Child in the World of Intellectual Property”, conducted by Elena Sedletchi, university lecturer (graduate of the Kindergarten № 6, promotion of the year 1989), in partnership with the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI). 26 children from the preparatory group were involved in the lesson.

This event was designed to disseminate knowledge about intellectual property among children, parents and teaching staff within the kindergarten. The open lesson also aimed to motivate both parents and children to pay more attention to creative work and its outcomes, to stimulate curiosity for inventions and the courage to materialize ideas by the small children.

The State Agency on Intellectual Property offered several information materials in the field of intellectual property for both teaching staff and children.

The event fits into the list of activities on the occasion of the World Intellectual Property Day, which is traditionally celebrated on April 26. The theme of the World Intellectual Property Day in 2018 is: Powering Change: Women in Innovation and Creativity. The campaign dedicated to the World Intellectual Property Day celebrates the brilliance, ingenuity, curiosity and courage of the women who are driving change in our world and shaping our common future.
