The State Agency on Intellectual Property (Agency) will participate along with other institutions of Moldova at the Europe Day events held by the EU Delegation to Moldova in the framework of the "European Village", to be organized on May 10th in Chisinau and on May 17th in Comrat city. Thus, AGEPI representatives will disseminate relevant information on protection and enforcement of the intellectual property rights.
The Europe Day is an unique opportunity to promote European values, to show the cultural diversity of the EU and to provide information on EU assistance to Moldova.
Following previous years experience, "European Village" will focus on various festive events. It will provide information on ongoing assistance projects funded by the EU and will offer to Moldova, EU Member States and candidate countries the opportunity to share their cultures, traditions and cuisine specific.
During these two days, in the afternoon, there will be organized additional cultural events. Thus, both celebrations shall be concluded with performances/concerts provided by well known artists from Romania (in Chisinau) and from Crimea (in Comrat). Also, in both cities will be organized public debates on issues related to EU integration with the participation of EU Ambassadors and politicians of Moldova.
Day of Europe in the Republic of Moldova will be launched in Chisinau, in the square of the Theatre of Opera and Ballet (Stefan cel Mare Boulevard, no. 152) on May 10th , starting at 13.00.
