Farmers from the Republic of Moldova were awarded on September 24 during the framework of the Pria Gala. The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated as a partner of the event, organized by PRIAevents, in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of the Republic of Moldova.
Pria Gala was designed to celebrate the remarkable achievements of farmers who make a significant contribution to the development of agriculture in the Republic of Moldova.
AGEPI participated in the online panel “How Can We Grow Farmers’ Businesses in the Republic of Moldova?” Andrei Moisei, Principal Consultant, Communication and Training Division, spoke to the participants about the importance of protecting intellectual property (IP) objects and enforcing IP rights, as well as their use, the essence, components and principles of intellectual property law in developing a sustainable and successful business. The AGEPI specialist reiterated the interest and support provided by the institution for the promotion of knowledge in the field of IP among farmers.
We should mention that, for AGEPI, training in the field of intellectual property is one of the key priorities in promoting and developing the system of protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
