AGEPI Participated in an Online Event Organized on the Occasion of European Cooperation Day

09/23/2021

Representatives of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated, on September 22, in an online event held on the occasion of European Cooperation Day. The meeting was organized by the Office for the Management of External Assistance Programs (OMEAP) in the context of cooperation within the Danube Transnational Programme 2014 - 2020 (PTD 2014 - 2020). This programme is a European Union-funded cooperation tool to promote economic, social and territorial cohesion between 14 countries in the Danube region and includes 14 countries (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany (Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria), Hungary, Germany, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Ukraine - partly).

The main objective of the online event was to describe the cooperation registered within the Danube Transnational Programme 2014 - 2020 in the Republic of Moldova.

The achievements of the beneficiaries of projects within the DTP 2014 - 2020 were reviewed and the main elements of the new programme 2021 - 2027 were outlined.

Liliana Vieru, head of AGEPI’s Communication and International Relations Department, presented the current stage of implementation of the project “Fostering Innovation in the Danube Region through Knowledge Engineering and IPR Management” (KnowING IPR), a project in which AGEPI is a partner. The AGEPI representative informed the participants in the event of the most important results of the project, as well as the ongoing activities, inviting the interested persons to participate in the mentoring and training programmes organized within the project during October-November.

More details about the KnowING IPR project and the implemented activities can be found by accessing http://www.interreg-danube.eu/approved-projects/knowing-ipr.
