The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated on October 17, this year, in the International Specialized Exhibition-Fair (ISE) “Farmer”, 27th edition, which is held simultaneously with the ISE Moldagroteh (autumn), during the period 17-20 October 2024, at Moldexpo. The exhibitions are held under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of the Republic of Moldova and are organized by the International Exhibition Center “Moldexpo”, in cooperation with the National Farmers Federation of Moldova. More than 200 companies from the Republic of Moldova, Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Italy, Poland, Romania and Ukraine participate in these exhibitions.

These exhibitions represented an important opportunity for AGEPI to contribute to the promotion and dissemination of information in the field of intellectual property. AGEPI specialists provided free consultation to the participants on the national intellectual property protection system, with a particular focus on the importance of intellectual property protection in the agricultural industry. They also distributed informational materials in the field of IP.

The Exhibition “Farmer” focuses on promoting local and international agricultural products with a wide range of seeds, fertilizers and livestock equipment. Solutions for small and medium-sized agriculture are also exhibited, offering small farmers affordable modern technologies.

Visitors have the opportunity to see the latest agricultural machinery, farm equipment, irrigation technologies, plant protection products, seeds, trees and more. Particular attention is paid to state-of-the-art agricultural technology, including modern tractors and combines.

In addition to the exhibition offer, participants can participate in various seminars and conferences where current topics in the agricultural sector will be addressed, including the use of drones in agriculture, irrigation technologies and solutions for sustainable agriculture.
