On September 23, in the square of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, was held the European Researchers’ Night, event organized simultaneously in 300 cities in the European Union.
Visitors had the opportunity to participate in experiments, to visit equipped laboratories, to communicate with scientists and even be in a researcher’s shoes.
The inauguration of the academic town, along with ASM President, Acad. Gheorghe Duca, was attended by the Head of EU Delegation to the Republic of Moldova, Pirkka Tapiola, officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps, business environment, and Director General of the State Agency on Intellectual Property, Octavian Apostol.
The officials have toured the academic town, visited the tents and talked to the researchers.
AGEPI was present at the event with an information stand, offering consultations on theoretical and practical aspects of protection of intellectual property objects.
European Researchers’ Night is one of the most famous European Union initiatives, which celebrates science. In the Republic of Moldova the event is now in its third edition.
