The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated on 16 November in the project dedicated to “Online Privacy Week”, which takes place from 15 to 19 November 2021. The event is organized by the European Law Students’ Association ELSA National Board “ELSA Republic of Moldova”.

The main objective of the event was to provide students with knowledge on the protection of intellectual property rights and familiarization of participants with the activity of AGEPI.

During the event, AGEPI specialist Andrei Moisei, principal consultant, Communication and Training Division spoke about “The Role and Importance of Intellectual Property”, familiarizing participants with the general aspects of intellectual property and the methods of their protection. The students were also informed about some aspects related to the enforcement of IP rights, protection of copyright and related rights.

The European Law Students’ Association ELSA National Board “ELSA Republic of Moldova” has as its main purpose to contribute to the legal education of future lawyers by stimulating mutual understanding and promoting social responsibility.
