The Laureates Gala took place on 29 May, this year, in the premises of the Theoretical Lyceum “Universul” in Chisinau. The Gala represents the appreciation of pupils’ successes in all fields of activity, namely: art, culture, literature, poetry, science, idea, innovation, etc. The awards are offered for the period of 2023-2024.

The head of the Communication and Training Division of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI), Victoria Andriuta, participated in the event with a welcoming address, who congratulated both the administration and teaching staff of the Lyceum on the occasion of the beautiful event, as well as the winners of the Gala. In this context, Victoria Andriuta mentioned that AGEPI encourages inventiveness, creativity and pupil participation in as many intellectual property (IP) competitions as possible.

Also, the AGEPI representative presented Diplomas of Mention for inventiveness and creativity to the pupils who had the courage to participate and compete in the International Specialized Exhibition (ISE) “INFOINVENT”, 18th edition, held online from 22 to 24 November 2023.

We should mention that AGEPI and the “Universul” Theoretical Lyceum have a long-term partnership that has materialized in various activities, namely: the participation of the lyceum pupils in the ISE “INFOINVENT”, as well as in the National Pupil Awareness Campaign on Counterfeiting and Piracy Phenomena in the Republic of Moldova, 2014 edition; joint organization of an interactive lesson in the field of IP, intended for primary school children, etc.
