The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated on November 10, this year, with an information stand in the National Exhibition “Science for Peace: Creativity, Experience, Perspectives”, organized by the Academy of Sciences of Moldova (ASM).
The purpose of the event was to highlight the results of research in the fields of competence of ASM. The results obtained by both individual researchers and groups of researchers, institutes, universities, colleges and centers of excellence, in the period 2020-2022 were presented during the exhibition.
Promotional materials were distributed at the AGEPI information stand. At the same time, information and consultations were provided about the national intellectual property system. AGEPI specialists also launched the invitation to participate in the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT”, 18th edition, which will take place on November 22-24, 2023.
The National Exhibition “Science for Peace: Creativity, Experience, Perspectives” was organized in the context of the World Science Day for Peace and Development, celebrated every year on November 10, and the International Students’ Day, which will be celebrated on November 17.
In 2022, the World Science Day for Peace and Development has as its theme: Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development, being celebrated within the International Year of Basic Sciences for Sustainable Development.
Science will be essential for achieving many of the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and thus for ensuring a sustainable future. The UNESCO Science Report is one of the tools that countries can use to monitor progress towards the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
