Representatives of institutions and public authorities with responsibilities in the field of protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, judges and prosecutors of the Republic of Moldova are invited to participate in the regional seminar organized by the Patent Office of the Republic of Latvia (LPO) in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). The event will take place online on September 10.
The regional seminar aims to consolidate knowledge and achieve an exchange of experiences and good practices in the field of enforcement of intellectual property rights. The event will be held in English.
During the event, well-known specialists in the field from WIPO, EUIPO, the German Federal Court of Justice, the Court of The Hague, the Supreme Court of Latvia, University of Warsaw and one of the largest IP law firms in Europe: BARDEHLE PAGENBERG will provide information on international and European standards and present best practices on the enforcement of intellectual property rights, evidence in patent litigation, protection of unregistered distinctive signs within unfair competition law, IP protection in light of fundamental rights, dispute resolution in the field of copyright, etc.
