The 18th edition of the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT” opened today, November 22, 2023, a landmark event in the field of innovation and intellectual property in the Republic of Moldova. The exhibition is organized by the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research, the Ministry of Culture, the National Agency for Research and Development and the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research.

During the event, almost 450 inventions, innovative projects and creative products are exhibited, the authors of which come from the Republic of Moldova, Romania, China, Poland, France, Malaysia, Taiwan, Cambodia, Bulgaria, Belarus, Switzerland and Belgium.

The International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT” is hosted on the virtual platform www.infoinvent.md. Thus, for three days, participants and visitors will have the opportunity to discover innovations and creativity in the field of science and technology, as well as in other areas, from innovative toys to household items.

During the inauguration ceremony, the Director General of AGEPI, Eugeniu Rusu, welcomed the participants and guests to the exhibition, underlining the importance of this event in promoting the innovative spirit and encouraging intellectual performance among researchers.

“As the host of this prestigious event, AGEPI is dedicated to supporting and promoting intellectual property, innovation and research in the Republic of Moldova. We encourage collaboration between the public and private sectors, fostering technology transfer and strengthening efforts to bring today’s ideas into tomorrow’s reality. I encourage you to enthusiastically explore this virtual platform, interact with the projects and inspire each other. Every discovery presented here is a cornerstone in building a more innovative and sustainable society”, added Eugeniu Rusu.

The participants in INFOINVENT, representatives of research and development institutions, universities from the Republic of Moldova and Romania, expressed their appreciation for the organization of the event, recognizing the crucial role of this forum in stimulating innovation and supporting the community of researchers.

In parallel with the exhibition, related events will be held in virtual format.

Thus, on November 22, the 6th edition of the International Innovation Conference entitled “Women in Innovation and Business: Inspiration, Involvement, Investment”, organized by AGEPI in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the European Patent Office (EPO) takes place.

On November 23, the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research in cooperation with AGEPI is organizing a webinar entitled “Predatory Pseudoscientific Publications as a Risk Factor for Scientific Research”.

On November 24, AGEPI, the National Agency for Research and Development (ANCD) and the Horizon Europe National Office are conducting a webinar entitled “Valorization of Intellectual Property in Research and Innovation Projects Funded by the EU Horizon Europe Programme”.

According to the exhibition program, on November 24, at 1:00 p.m., the festive award ceremony for the laureates of the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT 2023” will take place.

ISE “INFOINVENT” is a forum of intellectual property, creativity and innovation, with the aim of supporting research and innovation activity, attracting investments in the field of innovation and technology transfer, as well as promoting mixed projects on valorization and implementation of human creativity results in the national economy.

The State Agency on Intellectual Property invites everyone to explore the Exhibition “INFOINVENT” and discover the outstanding contributions of inventors and researchers participating in this event, covering a variety of fields, from the most modern aspects of science and technology to innovations in toys and household items.
