The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI), in cooperation with the Law Units Registration and Licensing Department of the P.I. Public Services Agency (PSA), organized two training sessions for PSA specialists in the field of intellectual property rights protection and the use of databases owned by AGEPI, including how to access information from the National Register of Trademarks.

The training sessions were held on March 30 and April 6, 2023, with the aim of strengthening the knowledge of specialists in the field of state registration. Participants learned how to access and use information available in national and international databases, as well as important aspects of intellectual property protection.

In the first session, Andrei Moisei, principal consultant in the Communication and Training Division, delivered the presentation “Lesser Known Aspects of Intellectual Property”. In the second session, Svetlana Sahan, principal consultant in the National Trademarks Division, presented the practical aspects of search in the trademark databases with concrete examples of the use of national and international databases.

The organization of these training sessions by AGEPI demonstrates the concern of the institution for the continuous training of specialists in the field of intellectual property protection and the promotion of the necessary knowledge for a sustainable and innovative business environment.
