AGEPI participated in the International Exhibition of Inventions PRO INVENT in Cluj-Napoca

The State Agency for Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated from 26 to 28 October, in the International Exhibition of Research, Innovations and Inventions PRO INVENT, 20th edition, which took place in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

The event was a distinguished meeting place between inventors, businessmen and entrepreneurs interested in putting into practice the results of research, innovation and human creativity. This year’s edition of the Exhibition brought together over 50 participants representing universities, institutes, centers from Romania and abroad, who exhibited over 300 inventions.

The Republic of Moldova was represented at the Exhibition PRO INVENT - 2022 by the National Agency for Public Health, the State University of Moldova, the Technical University of Moldova, the Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology, the Institute of Phytotechnology “Porumbeni”, the Institute of Applied Physics, etc.

AGEPI participated in the Exhibition with an informative stand where promotional materials were distributed. At the same time, information and consultations were provided about the national intellectual property system and about the validation of European patents on the territory of the Republic of Moldova. AGEPI specialists also launched the invitation to participate in the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT”, 18th edition, which will take place on November 22-25, 2023.

Traditionally, AGEPI selected and rewarded with gold medals several inventions presented during the Exhibition. The representatives of the Agency presented three gold medals for the selected works, namely for an invention presented by the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca, for a work presented by the “Lower Danube” University of Galati, and for an invention of students from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca.

For its contribution to promoting inventiveness and supporting inventors, AGEPI received a diploma of appreciation from the organizers.
