The State Agency on Intellectual Property congratulates all children and their parents on the occasion of World Children’s Protection Day and announces the launch of a contest intended for children and young people. The contest, entitled “Innovations That Would Make the World Better” will take place from June 1 to September 1.

Its purpose is to promote the IP system among young people, highlight the positive impact that innovations have on society, as well as develop the skills and competitive spirit of young people.

The contest is open to young people from the Republic of Moldova, according to age categories: between 7-13 years old and between 14-18 years old, who at the time of registration are studying in primary or secondary (1st-9th grades), vocational, secondary and post-secondary vocational education institutions.

The papers will be evaluated according to the following criteria: originality/innovation; quality and accuracy of execution; the degree of correspondence of the paper with the announced theme/fitting in with the specifics of the contest; aesthetic appearance/uniformity of colors used; the technical execution of the work, the difficulty and the clarity of the rendered objects.

The winners of the contest will be rewarded with vouchers, depending on the place ranked, for the purchase of electronics and gadgets.

The contest is part of the list of actions dedicated to marking the 30th anniversary of the founding of AGEPI.

The deadline for submission of works is September 1, 2022.
