In the context of the accession of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) to the DesignView search tool of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), as well as in order to improve the procedures regarding the examination of industrial designs in the case of a multiple deposit, it has been established that since 1 April 2018:

• the initial numbering of the industrial designs is kept in the case of a multiple deposit:
  • in all applications for registration of industrial designs with the date of filing 01.04.2018 or after that date;
  • in all applications for registration of industrial designs for which the registration certificate has not been issued.
• the numbering of the industrial designs will not be changed in the case of a multiple deposit for which the registration certificate has been issued.
