The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) started the special training course in the field of intellectual property.
In the opening, the Director General of AGEPI, Eugeniu Rusu, mentioned that: “This course aims to increase skills and knowledge regarding the importance of intellectual property. Through these trainings, we aim to strengthen the understanding of the field of intellectual property, with particular emphasis on the aspects related to the protection and enforcement of rights in intellectual property objects.”
The Director General of AGEPI wished the participants success and an activity full of achievements in studying the field of intellectual property.
The course, which has a mixed format combining physical presence and online training, aims to provide participants with an insight into the protection of intellectual property objects, both nationally and internationally. It will run until 15 December and will provide participants with theoretical and practical knowledge in a range of key topics.
The study plan covers a number of essential subjects in the field of intellectual property, such as inventions, plant varieties, trademarks, geographical indications, appellations of origin and traditional specialties guaranteed, industrial designs, copyright and related rights, economics and valuation of intellectual property.
The lessons are taught by qualified intellectual property specialists from AGEPI, who will give participants the opportunity to understand and apply the concepts and practices in this field in a stimulating and interactive learning environment.
Through this educational initiative, AGEPI aims to strengthen awareness and expertise regarding the protection and exploitation of intellectual property in the Republic of Moldova and to train future specialists who will contribute to stimulating economic growth in the country.
