The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) invites interested persons to participate in the fourth edition of the International IP Mediation Conference, an event organized by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). The conference will take place on 19-20 October 2023 at the EUIPO’s headquarters in Alicante, Spain, and will also be accessible online.
The event will bring together stakeholders in various fields committed to mediation and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, from all over the world. Among the participants will be representatives from IP offices, EU institutions, lawyers, legal counsels, judges, representatives of the international industry, entrepreneurs, scientists from the academic environment, etc.
The conference agenda has been designed to encourage discussion, interaction and networking. The central theme of the event focuses on the practical and pragmatic aspects of mediation as an incentive for businesses and their legal counsels. Several experts and practitioners will share knowledge with participants in four key sessions, addressing different aspects of mediation and other ADR mechanisms in the IP field.
The conference will be held in English, with simultaneous interpretation in French, German, Italian and Spanish. Interested persons can register until October 12.
