Apply to the Mentoring Programme in the Field of Intellectual Property

The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) announces a mentoring programme in the field of intellectual property, launched within the project Fostering Innovations in the Danube Region through Knowledge Engineering and IPR Management (KnowING IPR), a project in which AGEPI is a partner.

Thus, AGEPI invites entrepreneurs, representatives of institutions from the Republic of Moldova involved in the field of research, innovation and technology transfer, as well as all those interested in the protection of intellectual property rights to apply to the mentoring programme.

During the programme, the selected participants will benefit from free consultations in the field of intellectual property, as well as access to events organized within the KnowING IPR project. The learning and mentoring activities will be supported by the KnowING IPR Hub, a unique platform developed within the KnowING IPR project, which will be the main tool to be used by the participants.

The mentoring programme launched by the KnowING IPR project will support a total of 13 companies and 5 higher education institutions or technology transfer centers from the Danube region countries. The programme will run online from November 2020 to March 2021, requiring a minimum involvement of one day per month.

The KnowING IPR project aims to facilitate innovation in the Danube Region by developing a transnational open access platform - Knowing Hub - which will provide the necessary tools to analyze and determine the state of the art in a particular field, track the progress of emerging technologies, identify solutions to various problems, providing free access to millions of patent documents around the world and also to an impressive number of publications in various technical fields.

Additionally, the platform will include information and guidance services for the effective management of intellectual property rights (IPR) and for support to commercialization of research results and technology transfer.

The KnowING IPR project is formed of a regional consortium comprising partners from the following countries: Slovenia, Slovakia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.
