AGEPI ensures access to the National Collection of Patents for inventions from RM and collections from other countries containing some 20 millions of documents stored on optical discs. In particular, it refers to Collection of patents issued in RM; Collection of European and international patents; Collection “CISPATENT” patents, which contains common regional CDs published monthly since 2002, according to cooperation agreements with CIS countries in the field of industrial property protection.
Among the indexes provided for documentation research is also the CD “Inventions protected in the Republic of Moldova” published annually since 1999. In the launch phase is the cumulative disk for 2008, which contains bibliographic data, claims and descriptions (including drawings) of 1295 published patent applications, 3789patents granted by AGEPI during 1993-2008 and 115 utility model certificates granted during 2004-2008. Titles and abstracts of the inventions are presented in Romanian, English and Russian, the claims and descriptions - in Romanian. Claims, descriptions and drawings are available only for granted patents, and abstracts are present for each application or patent.
The bibliographic data are organized according to a data structure, accessed by a special program for reading. Abstracts, claims, descriptions and drawings are presented in PDF files and also can be read using software documentation, which you can only be launched after installation.
The disk is designed to perform legal research documenting the inventions protected in the Republic of Moldova. The authors have made to facilitate and streamline the work of examiners, applicants, holders, advisors and representatives of industrial property. Data inserted in thr disc can be also very useful for entrepreneurs, whose business is focused on developing and marketing the innovative products developed in the latest creations of science and technology.
AGEPI also suggests to thepeople interested CD “Inventions created in the Republic of Moldova” - paper and electronic index, which covers 5478 inventions created in 1963-1992 by the inventors of Moldova, including those in collaboration with authors from other countries. There are presented titles of inventions (in Romanian, English and Russian), filing date, classes according to IPC, the names of inventors, applicants' names, numbers of certificates of copyright, publication date etc.
