On 4 July this year, European Parliament (EP) finally rejected the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Treaty (ACTA), thus nullifying the possibility for the European Union (EU) to ratify this controversial international agreement which, according to his critics, threatens individual freedoms, especially those related to Internet.
