In the period of June 27-30, 2007 in the ISE “Moldexpo” will take place the X-th International Specialized Exhibition «INFOINVENT- 2007».The organizers of the exhibition are the State Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Moldova (AGEPI), the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and International Exhibition Center “Moldexpo”.
AGEPI invites the interested persons to register in order to enter the courses of the counselors in intellectual property (the teaching is carried out in Romanian or Russian).
The term of study – 11 weeks. The lections will hold on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The teaching take place on the basis of the contract concluded between AGEPI and the applicant on conditions of payment the fee of 1500 Leis. The registration is effectuated permanently. The IP courses will start after the group completion.

According to the order of the Director general of AGEPI No. 12 of January 26, 2007, emitted on the basis of the decision of the Commission of Experts of the Nice Union on the International Classification of Products and Services (ICPS) with the scope of trademarks registration (CLIM/CE/20/9 of October 13, 2005), from January 1, 2007 it is applied the 9-th edition of the International Classification of Products and Services (ICPS).
January 23, 2007 AGEPI was visited by the leaders of the Department Extern Economical Cooperation of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce. The participants of the delegation are Mr. Timus Andrei, vicedirector of Department Extern Economical Cooperation of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce; Mrs Oxana Budisi – counselor Director cooperation, attraction and co-ordination of the extern technical assistance, as well as Mr. Patric Mousnier-Lampre and Mrs Inesa Coman – expert of the Project "Support to Power" of the European Commission.
We inform you that in the period of February 5-8, 2007 on the territory of the Exhibition Center of Russian Federation will be held the VII-th Moscow International Exhibition on Innovations and Investments.
Eurasian Patent Office informs that from February 1, 2007 enters in force new Regulations on EAPO fees, according which the fees amount will be calculated in the Russian rubles. Moreover from December 6, 2006 it is stipulated by the EAPO order that from February 1, 2007 for payment of the services there will be fixed rates in the Russian rubles.
The ninth edition of International Classification of Goods and Services for the Purposes of the Registration of Marks under the Nice Agreement has been in force since January 1, 2007.
In the period of February 7-12, 2007, in Kishinev on the territory of IEC “MOLDEXPO” (str. Ghioceilor,1) there will take place the VI Universal National Exhibition “Fabricated in Moldova”. The exhibition takes place under the patronage of the Government of RM and is carried out under the title “Moldovan trademark – European quality”. The aim of the exhibition consists in the contribution to the creation of favourable conditions for maintain the national producer, development of the competitiveness thereof, as well as for the promotion of the image of the Republic of Moldova.
At the end of 2006 there were published the Annual report of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), demonstrating that the patentability system became an integrant part of the global economic activity, and raising of the number of filed patent applications is a proof of the world economic development. In this report it is mentioned that the intellectual property system is used more and more frequently by the different companies for the protection of their investments on the new markets.
With regard of organizing the quaterly meeting with the representatives in industrial property in order to discuss the last matters and information on new regulations of the legislation, AGEPI invites You to take part in the meeting that will take place on December 22, 2005, Friday at 1400 in the conference hall AGEPI, with the following agenda:
