A webinar on intellectual property dedicated to the community of teachers in vocational education was held on December 16, created within the Shift Edu Project “Digital Skills for Employment in the Modern Economy”, supported by the Austrian Development Agency. The event was organized at the request of the representatives of the Educational Center PRO DIDACTICA.
The main purpose of the event was to strengthen the knowledge in the field of intellectual property (IP) of teachers in vocational education.
During the webinar, Andrei Moisei, principal consultant, Communication and Training Division of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) spoke about the problems of plagiarism and copyright in the teaching community of the Republic of Moldova. The AGEPI representative acquainted the participants with the general aspects of intellectual property and the ways of protection of IP objects, as well as aspects related to the enforcement of IP rights.
The online event ended with a question and answer session.
We should mention that, for AGEPI, training in the field of intellectual property is one of the key priorities in promoting and developing the system of protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
