The International Exhibition of Research, Innovations and Inventions PRO INVENT, 18th edition, takes place from 18 to 20 November 2020, in the city of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. In the circumstances of the coronavirus pandemic, the event takes place online.
The Director General of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) Viorel Iustin participated in the opening of the PRO INVENT – 2020 Exhibition, with a welcoming speech, who noted: “Over the years, AGEPI and the organizers of the PRO INVENT Exhibition have managed to establish close cooperation relations, becoming already a tradition the mutual participation of representatives from Romania and the Republic of Moldova in the International Specialized Exhibition INFOINVENT, organized by AGEPI and PRO INVENT Exhibition, whose organizer is the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca. I want to express my confidence that PRO INVENT Exhibition will continue to contribute to the development of regional and international technical-scientific cooperation, encouraging business-science partnerships and stimulating new ideas that will later be transformed into inventions, technologies and creative products.”
PRO INVENT brings together over 50 participating entities from universities, institutes, research centers, clusters, companies, as well as natural persons, who have registered more than 400 inventions for judging.
The Research Conference of the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (TUCN) is taking place during the exhibition, which brings together current issues in areas such as medical robotics, intelligent vehicles, energy efficiency, CLOUD systems and autonomous driving, all addressed in workshops open to the general public through the Microsoft Teams platform. TUCN is one of the first higher education institutions in Europe to organize an exhibition of inventions.
The PRO INVENT Exhibition in Cluj-Napoca was and wants to remain a distinct meeting place for inventors and inventions with businessmen and entrepreneurs interested in implementing the results of research, innovation and human creativity.
AGEPI encourages inventors and researchers from the Republic of Moldova to participate in international specialized exhibitions and to use this tool to promote their own innovative projects with maximum efficiency.
