The working visit of the delegation of the National Patent Information Center (NPIC) of the Republic of Tajikistan in the composition of Mr. Dadabaev GAIRATDJON, Head of the National Trademark Registration Department and Mr. Sorboni SAIDJALOL, Principal Specialist, National Trademark Registration Department, takes place in the period 3-4 June this year, at the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI), with the aim of making an exchange of experience in the field of trademarks.

During the visit, NPIC representatives met with AGEPI Director General Lilia Bolocan, as well as with other representatives of the institution.

Discussions focused mainly on examination of the national system of protection, observance and exploitation of trademarks and geographical indications. The representatives of both offices also made a useful exchange of information and experience on effective techniques for promoting country brands and indigenous geographical indications.

Moreover, according to the work visit schedule, NPIC specialists are also going to be familiarized with the process of creating and promoting country brands within the Investment Agency and National Vine and Wine Office from Chisinau.
