State Agency on Intellectual Property organizes on May 26, between 12.00-13.30, in the conference hall of the central pavilion of IEC “Moldexpo” the Seminar “The Role of Industrial Design in Promoting the Enterprise Image on Domestic and Foreign Market”. The seminar will be held within the International Forum of Small and Medium Enterprises, eleventh edition, which will take place from 25 to 28 May 2011 under the patronage of the Government of the Republic of Moldova. Forum organizers are: Ministry of Economy and IEC “Moldexpo” JSC, in collaboration with the Organization for Small and Medium Enterprise Sector Development, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova and Chisinau Mayoralty.

The seminar aims to familiarize local producers with the provisions of national legislation on the protection of intellectual property, harmonized with the acquis communautaire (in particular that relating to trademarks, industrial designs), presentation of advantages and opportunities offered by the owners’ exclusive rights in intellectual property objects.

In the Forum will be held the SME Exhibition and the Annual Conference of representatives of small and medium enterprises, it will be summed up the republican Contest “ The Best Entrepreneur of the SME Sector”, round tables and seminars with specialized theme, etc.

AGEPI will participate in the expo-forum with the exhibition stand “Protection of Intellectual Property in the Republic of Moldova”, and at its end, will award the AGEPI Cup to an enterprise participating in this year’s edition of the exhibition, which owns the largest portfolio of registered intellectual property objects.
