State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participated in the International Invention Fair ISIF’17, which was held in the period 2-4 March in Istanbul, Turkey.

The event was organized by the Turkish Patent Institute, under the patronage of the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology and the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA).

The fair aimed at promoting innovation, interconnecting inventors with investors, creating new funding opportunities for developing innovative products and strengthening business networks.

The exhibition was attended by representatives from 27 countries, who presented about 400 new inventions and technologies. A jury formed of international experts praised the inventions of the participants and the best exhibits were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals, as well as special prizes.

AGEPI participated in the International Invention Fair ISIF’17 with an exhibition booth. Agency experts presented information materials referring to the national intellectual property system and provided information on the validation of European patents in the Republic of Moldova. At the same time, by the AGEPI booth were exhibited three inventions of inventors from Moldova, two of which have won bronze medals and one was appreciated with gold medal. Also, AGEPI specialists have launched the invitation to the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT”, fifteenth edition, to be held in Chisinau, in November 2017.

Traditionally, the State Agency on Intellectual Property granted three medals for the works presented in the Fair.
