In the period 5-7 November 2015, in Karlovac, Croatia, was held the International Invention Show “INOVA”.
The event, in the 40th edition, was organized by the Croatian Inventors Association, Zagreb Inventors Association and Karlovac Inventors Association. This year’s anniversary edition was attended by representatives from over 15 countries. A jury formed of international experts praised the inventions of the participants exhibited at the exhibition. The best exhibits were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals, as well as special prizes.
Republic of Moldova was represented in the International Invention Show “INOVA” by the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI). On the country’s stand were exhibited over 20 inventions of Moldovan inventors from the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemitanu”; Institute of Agricultural Machinery “Mecagro”; National Center for Public Health; Institute of Zoology; Institute of Genetics, Physiology and Plant Protection; Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology and Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. Inventors’ works have enjoyed true success. The international jury of the exhibition has awarded 10 gold, 8 silver, 2 bronze medals and 4 special prizes to Moldovan participants who stood out with the exhibited inventions.
At the same time, on the exhibition stand of AGEPI, was presented the national intellectual property system, were distributed promotional materials and was promoted the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT”, fourteenth edition, which will take place on 25-28 November this year.
Traditionally, AGEPI has awarded 3 medals for the works presented by young inventors from State University of Technology “Volga” from Russia, women inventors from Indonesia and inventors from Malaysia.
International Invention Show INOVA in Croatia is an ideal environment for business meetings between inventors, researchers and representatives of public and private sector. INOVA is an event that every year attracts more and more participants both from the academic research environment, universities and colleges, as well as entrepreneurs in various fields of business. Over the years the exhibition has presented and promoted to the general public thousands of inventions of both inventors from Croatia and from abroad.
