In the period from 1 to 5 February 2011, at the IEC “Moldexpo”, 1 Ghioceilor str., Chisinau, will be held the tenth edition, jubilee, of the diversified exhibition “Made in Moldova”.
The exhibition is under the patronage of the Government of the Republic of Moldova and is one of the most important exhibition events in RM, with the participation of economic agents from different fields of activity and different regions of the country.
Organizers are Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy.
The additional program of the event will be diverse, bringing together specialists of the country and from abroad, representatives of public authorities, which, in a series of seminars and roundtables will address current issues of the economy. The premiere will be held in the exhibition “Forum of labor resources”, which will be attended by chambers of commerce and industry of member countries of the CEFTA Free Trade Agreement, and the Credit Fair. Agenda foresees the development of traditional “Job Fair”, specialized workshops, company and product presentations, seminars etc.
Exhibition “Made in Moldova” aims at supporting local producers, setting the stage for launching competitive products in the domestic market, developing strategic ways to stimulate scientific and innovational activity in the scientific and production field, thereby increasing domestic and foreign investments and creating a favorable business environment.
The event in question gives people the opportunity to buy quality local products, directing consumers to local producers, stimulating the production of quality and competitive goods.
The last edition was attended by about 300 economic entities in all branches of national economy and the exhibition area exceeded 2000 square meters. The event was attended by guests from Belarus, China, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Romania, Russia, Turkey, and Ukraine. In the exhibition “Made in Moldova 2010” were organized a business forum, 3 workshops, 6 round tables that have addressed different aspects of business and which was attended by over 1000 specialists, being visited by over 40,000 people.
The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) will participate this year with an informational stand on the national intellectual property system, offering the participants competent advice on the mode of IPO protection in the country and abroad, the new provisions of the national legislation harmonized with the European Union standards, functioning of national databases (inventions, industrial designs, product and service trademarks), posted on the web site www.agepi.md.
