In the period August 31 - September 4, 2014, the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) will participate with an information stand in the 23rd edition of the International Book Exhibition, organized by the National Library of the Republic of Moldova. The event will be held under the patronage of UNESCO and the First Lady of the Republic of Moldova Margareta Timofti and will be devoted to the Year of Dumitru Matcovschi and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova.

The event will be attended by the First Lady of the Republic of Moldova Margareta Timofti, Minister of Culture Monica Babuc, and representatives of embassies accredited in Chisinau.

In the Exhibition will be held a series of events, including: exhibition-fair of editorial production representing the activity of over 300 publishers from 21 countries, the conference of literary critic and historian Ioan Holban from Iasi entitled “Today’s Romanian Literature”, personal exhibition of the master of arts Vasile Dohotaru – painting and graphics devoted to Moldovan ballet, etc.

At the information stand of AGEPI will be presented the official publications of the Agency, a number of publications to popularize knowledge on multiple aspects of the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, published in the current year, will also be given consultancy on subscription or on-line consultation of the official publications of AGEPI.

Among the editorial news of the Publishing Department of AGEPI we should mention the book “Economic Dimension of Intellectual Property”, author Dr. of Economics, assoc. prof. Iurie Badar, Head of the Economics and Finance Department of AGEPI, which is a pioneering work in the given field.
