The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) organized on August 4, 2021, an interactive lesson focused on the field of intellectual property (IP) within the Intellectual Summer Camp Games.
Reaching its 14th edition, the Summer Camp is organized by the Moldovan Club of Intellectual Games (represented by students from the Technical University of Moldova) with the support of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.
According to the organizers, the event supports young people by getting involved in various socio-cultural activities and educational projects. The objectives of the Intellectual Summer Camp Games are to promote active-intellectual rest among young people and team activities, to train the spirit of observation, critical thinking and creativity, by involving participants in interactive games.
During the lesson, Andrei Moisei, principal consultant, Communication and Training Division of AGEPI told the young people about the IP objects, the need, advantages and ways to protect them, the phenomena of counterfeiting and piracy and their negative effects. The AGEPI expert also distributed informative and promotional materials in the field of IP.
The aim of the Summer Camp is to educate young people with high intellectual capacities, with a high level of culture and responsibility in an environment based on the principles of solidarity and communication, and to exercise their analytical and presentation skills.
The event, which is attended by about 56 young people from the Republic of Moldova, takes place from 01 to 08 August, at the “Festival” Rest and Creation Center (Leordoaia village, Calarasi district).
