The Inventor’s and Rationalizer’s Day, an important holiday for the country’s innovative community, is celebrated on the last Saturday of June, in the Republic of Moldova. On June 23, this year, the Union of Inventors and Rationalizers of Moldova “Innovator” (UIR) organized a festive meeting on the occasion of this day.
The event gathered together researchers, inventors and rationalizers from various fields, both from the university, academic and economic environment.
The meeting provided a platform for the presentation of the most outstanding achievements of recent years in the field of innovation. Future perspectives and challenges were also addressed, and the participants had the opportunity to share their experiences and highlight their significant contributions to the development of science and technology in the Republic of Moldova.
Present at the event, Natalia Mogol, Deputy Director General of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI), addressed a congratulatory message to all inventors and rationalizers. She highlighted their significant role in driving innovation and progress in the country, recognizing their efforts and achievements in various fields. Also, the meeting was an additional opportunity to emphasize the importance of protecting intellectual property and supporting inventors in obtaining intellectual property rights in inventions.
During the ceremony, AGEPI offered diplomas of mention to the most active inventors of the last year, depending on the number of applications submitted and the number of patents granted, as follows: Sulaiman Alsaliem, Dr. Med., principal scientific researcher, State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemitanu”, Vladimir Caraus, Dr. Biol., scientific researcher in medicine, Public Institution Institute of Physiology and Sanocratology of the Ministry of Education and Research, Ion Bulhac, Dr. Hab. Chem., research lecturer, Institute of Chemistry of the Ministry of Education and Research.
