AGEPI Invites Young People to Participate in the International Youth Olympiads in South Korea and Tunisia

The 6th edition of the Korea International Youth Olympiad (KIYO) will take place on October 8-10. In the circumstances of the coronavirus pandemic, the event will take place online.

KIYO offers young inventors the opportunity to share their ideas, inventions, innovations and intellectual property objects and provides an excellent communication platform in various technical and scientific fields.

  • Young people have the opportunity to participate in the following two compartments:
  • The best of the best invention, where they will compete against each other for the title of the best invention presented;
  • Team competition for creativity, where teams of 3-4 persons will solve various creative tasks.

Young people interested in participating in the Olympiad must submit applications for participation by September 10, 2021.

The event is organized by the of World Women Inventors and Entrepreneur’s Association (WWIEA) with the support of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO), International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), Seoul National University and other partners.

Also, the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) invites young people to participate in the 3rd edition of the Intellectual Property Olympiad with the theme “Think for Intellectual Property Promotion”, organized by the National Institute for Standardization and Industrial Property (INNORPI) of Tunisia, with the support of the Republic of Tunisia, the Tunisian Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mines and the World Intellectual Property Organization.

The aim of the competition is to promote the culture of intellectual property and innovation among young people. The Intellectual Property Olympiad is an international, free and non-profit event. The competition will take place online and is open to all young people, aged between 15 and 30 years old. The deadline for submission of works is July 20, 2021.
