The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) will participate from August 28 to September 1, 2019, with an information stand in the 28th edition of the BOOKFEST International Book Fair, organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic Moldova, the Union of Publishers of Moldova, the Association of Publishers of Romania and the National Library of the Republic of Moldova, in partnership with the Romanian Cultural Institute and the “Eudoxiu Hurmuzachi” Institute for Romanians from Everywhere.

At the information stand of AGEPI will be exhibited a series of publications, including the new editorial appearances, to popularize the domain of intellectual property (IP), published by the Agency, where visitors of the exhibition will be able to benefit from consultations on the protection and enforcement of IP rights.

The event will be attended by Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei, Minister of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Sarov, honorary president of the International Book Fair Bookfest, Chisinau 2019, Nicolae Brinzea, director of the “Eudoxiu Hurmuzachi” Institute for Romanians from Everywhere and others.

During five days, the most important publishers of the Republic of Moldova and Romania will present to the readers a rich editorial offer of over 50 thousand books - for children, school textbooks and a wide range of volumes from the most varied fields.

Within the framework of the Fair, there will also be various events, such as literary circles, book launches, thematic conferences, meetings and autograph sessions with writers and cultural people, intellectual and interactive games and others.
