AGEPI participates in the International Specialized Exhibition of Machinery, Equipment and Technologies for Agro-Industrial Sector MOLDAGROTECH, 2013 Spring Edition

In the period from 13 to 16 March 2013, the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) participates in the International Specialized Exhibition of Machinery, Equipment and Technologies for Agro-Industrial Sector MOLDAGROTECH, Twenty Fourth Edition, held traditionally inside the International Exhibition Center MOLDEXPO.

 

The event is organized by the host institution in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry. Among the participants are about 110 companies from 9 countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, R. Moldova, Romania, USA and Ukraine. At the opening of the exhibition also took part the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Vlad Filat.

 

AGEPI specialists participate with an information stand, offering advice on aspects of the national intellectual property protection system and distributing promotional materials in the field of intellectual property to both economic agents present at the exhibition and visitors.

 

Participants in the exhibition present the best-known local and international brands in all areas of agro-industrial sector - agricultural machinery, irrigation and water supply systems in agriculture, technique for improvement works, hydraulic plants, equipment for food and processing industries, fertilizers and plant protection means, technologies for intensive cultivation of crops, etc. It is also presented a wide variety of seeds and planting material, vegetable seedlings, saplings of fruit trees, medicinal and decorative plants, gardening tools, etc. For the first time, this year runs an exhibition of domestic animals, including cows, goats, sheep, poultry, rabbits and bees, its opening being accompanied by a performance with the participation of pedigree horses.

 

In the seminars and roundtables will be discussed issues that concern the country’s agro-industrial sector, namely: Investment policies in 2013, Preserving and increasing soil fertility, Performance of domestic cars for plant protection, Conservative technology implementation aspects in agriculture, Implementation of biofuels, Intensive livestock and poultry growing technologies, Financing energy efficiency projects, etc.
