AGEPI Director General Lilia Bolocan today met with representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO) and EU Twinning Project “Strengthening of the Medicines and Medical Devices Agency as Regulatory Agency in the Field of Medicines, Medical Devices and Pharmaceutical Activity”.
On 19 June this year, the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) organizes a Workshop entitled “Limits and Restrictions in the Manufacture of Intellectual Property Related Pharmaceutical Products”. The event is attended by representatives of the pharmaceutical companies, the State University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Nicolae Testemitanu” and AGEPI specialists.
The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) is participating in the first phase of the information campaign “DCFTA INFO BUSINESS: Ask the Expert”, which takes place during the period June-July this year. The campaign aims at enhancing visibility and communication in the business environment with reference to the provisions of the EU-RM Association Agreement and the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) and the competitive development opportunities that enterprises can benefit from under the Free Trade Agreement with the European Union.
The State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI), in cooperation with the European Union Technical Assistance Project “Support to Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights in the Republic of Moldova”, organizes on June 12, 2018, the National Seminar entitled “Cooperation between Right Holders, Collective Management Organizations and Users: The Experience and Practice of the European Union and the Republic of Moldova”.
On 8June this year, at the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) took place the visit of the delegation of the Romanian Copyright Office (ORDA) and the bilateral meeting at AGEPI and ORDA leadership level.
The working visit took place in the context of the participation of the ORDA delegation in the Regional Seminar entitled “Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights”, which was held in Chisinau during the period 6-7 June.

The first festival of creative industries – Moldavian Design Week is taking place from 4 to 11 June 2018 in Chisinau. The event takes place simultaneously in several locations: the National Art Museum of Moldova, the National History Museum of Moldova and the Water Tower in the Capital. The purpose of the event is to make design accessible to the general public. The official opening of the Moldavian Design Week, organized by Design Cafe & Club, took place on June 4 at the National Art Museum of Moldova.
The awards presentation ceremony of the National Painting Contest for Pupils entitled “Nature through the Eyes of Children”, 2nd edition, organized by the Botanical Garden (Institute) of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, took place on 2 June this year. The ceremony took place at the Botanical Garden, within the framework of the event dedicated to the International Children’s Day and the International Environment Day.
On Thursday, 31 May 2018, 155 enterprises from our country participating in the contests “Trademark of the Year 2017”, “Quality Achievement Award” and 17 district councils, present at the National Exhibition “Made in Moldova 2018” were awarded in the framework of the most important event of the local business – “Moldovan Business Gala”, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova (CCI) in partnership with the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI).
