On June 16 this year, it was held that the second edition of Creative Entrepreneurship Gala, in the framework of which was held the national finals of the competition: Creative Business Cup (CBC). The event was organized by the Global Entrepreneurship Network in Moldova (GEN Moldova).
State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) was the main partner of GEN Moldova in the organization of the Creative Business Cup competition, with a view to support innovative and creative spirit in business environment.
AGEPI Director General, Octavian Apostol, was invited to participate as inspirational speaker in the Creative Entrepreneurship Gala, alongside of Serge Zanoaga, founder of Umbrella Studio, Grigore Raileanu, founder of Remsys, Victoria Novac, EduJoc, Alla Dontu, Youbesc Creative Institute, etc. Octavian Apostol explained to competitors and the public the importance of intellectual property protection for business development.
GEN Moldova presented both AGEPI Director General and the State Agency on Intellectual Property with diplomas for the support and promotion of entrepreneurship in the Republic of Moldova.
After the inspirational speeches of invitees, there also followed the test of fire for the 8 competing teams. Thus, the participants presented their business ideas to the jury of the competition.
Finally, three finalists of the national edition of the Creative Business Cup were selected. The matter is about Do it projects for grandma, Baby Moon and Energy Solaris.
For three months, finalists will attend a business acceleration program, offered by Dreamups Innovation Campus.
At the end of this program, the jury, along with mentors, will select the national champion of the Creative Business Cup, who will represent Moldova at the international finals of the competition in Copenhagen, Denmark.
CBC competition aimed to identify creative business ideas in the Republic of Moldova and promote them internationally.
The first edition of the Creative Entrepreneurship Gala was held in June, 2015.
