A series of roundtables on “Pearls of the Republic of Moldova in Research, Innovation and Development Field” will be carried out between 14 to 19 June 2010 according to the Action Program within the National Stand of the Republic of Moldova presented at the World Exhibition-2010 in Shanghai, China (May 1 to October 31). The persons responsible for the organization of these actions are the Agency on Innovation and Technology Transfer (AITT) of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova and the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI).
The achievements of researchers and inventors of our republic, as well as the general aspects of the national intellectual property protection system will be presented during this period. Ion Daniliuc, Deputy Director General AGEPI, member of the Organizing Committee of RM for the World Exhibition “Shanghai-2010” will participate as a delegate to this important forum. Visitors of the National Stand of the Republic of Moldova will be familiarized with the current situation in the field of protection of IP objects, the current changes of the national legislation in this field, being released a series of promotional prospectuses and leaflets published by AGEPI. Next week of the exhibition will be dedicated to Moldovan design.
The purpose of participation of the Republic of Moldova in the World Expo-2010 consists in a wider spread of information about our country and its economic and social potential, demonstration of the possibilities and advantages of a business in the territory of the Republic of Moldova, presentation of the local business and investment environment, and initiation of the new international cooperation and projects, attraction of investments.
