On 2 February , the State Agency on Intellectual Property of the Republic of Moldova (AGEPI), with the support of the EU project VIP4SME ”Value IP for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs)”, organizes a Workshop entitled ”Three Opportunities Provided by Intellectual Property for Entrepreneurial Development”.
The event will be held within the Conference Hall of the Central Pavilion of the I.E.C. „Moldexpo” S.A. The workshop is organized in the framework of the National Exhibition „Made in Moldova”, and will take place within the I.E.C Moldexpo S.A. between 31 January and 4 February 2018 under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova.
Representatives of small and medium enterprises in various sectors of the national economy, both in the centre and in the territory, including the participants in the exhibition, experts within the AGEPI and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova etc., are invited to participate in the works of the workshop.
The most important aspects concerning the role of intellectual property in attracting consumers, enhancing competitiveness and strengthening the capital of the enterprise will be approached. Also, practical recommendations on the management of intellectual property objects, the specificity and role of their national and international protection will be proposed, taking into account the need for business development under conditions of increased competition.

The workshop is organized with the support of the Project “Value Intellectual Property for SMEs - VIP4SME”, in which AGEPI is an associated partner. The VIP4SME Project is funded by the European Union`s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program and aims to develop business support services in the field of intellectual property for SMEs.
