In the period 21-23 February 2014, in Balti were held the specialized Expo-Fairs “AGROTEH”, “ALIMENTAR EXPO”, eighteenth edition and the Exhibition “MARTISOR”, ninth edition. These exhibition events were organized by the Balti Branch of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova with the support of Balti Municipality Mayoralty.
The opening of the event was attended by members of the RM CCI Council, APL and business environment representatives, agricultural producers from the northern region of the country. According to Ms. Galina Codita, Director of Balti Branch of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, for a space of three days the exhibition events have demonstrated the achievements of participating enterprises and represented a space for an exchange of experience and communication, as well as the search for new partners.
In these exhibition events participated over 50 economic agents from Chisinau and Balti, from districts Sangerei, Falesti, Glodeni, Rascani, Ungheni, towns Ceadar-Lunga, Rabnita, Cimislia, Criuleni, Ialoveni and Straseni.
Traditionally, AGEPI participates in the events in question with an information stand and with promotional materials, offering consultancy to both economic agents present at the exhibition and stakeholders. Visitors request consultancy on the procedure for registration of product and service trademarks, geographical indications and appellations of origin and traditional specialties guaranteed, patenting of inventions, etc.
In the additional program of the exhibition were held roundtables, workshops, and bilateral dialogues. Agricultural producers, farmers and specialists of the agriculture and food directions of the Rascani, Falesti, Edineti, Telenesti, Glodeni, Sangerei District Councils, and economic agents actively participated in these activities supporting an interactive and current dialogue, which focused on the following topics: Efficient agriculture with agricultural machinery from JSC Moldagrotehnica; Financial solutions for small and medium business from CB Moldova Agroindbank JSC; Conditions of marketing of technical means from the Agricultural Producer Supporting Fund, proposed by SE IAM Mecagro; Peculiarities of the field works in the spring of this year, recommended by the scientists of the PE RIFC Selectia. AGEPI specialists presented in the framework of the roundtable the report “Trademark: Between Benefits and Risks”.
The specialized Expo-Fairs “AGROTEH”, “ALIMENTAR EXPO” and the Exhibition “MARTISOR” were aimed at supporting farmers, households, entrepreneurs, local producers in the country, with the view of promoting the qualitative and competitive products, goods, services on the internal and external market, and establishing new business contracts.
