On January 31, 2014, in the conference hall of the State Agency on Intellectual Property (AGEPI) took place the round table entitled “European Union Programme for Research and Innovation - Horizon 2020”. The event was organized by AGEPI in cooperation with the Center of International Projects of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.
The round table was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, Customs Service, AGEPI and Center of International Projects of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.
In the framework of the event were presented several reports: “Open Calls in HORIZON 2020 Programme for Small and Medium Enterprises” (speaker - Diana Grozav, National Contact Point for SMEs in Horizon 2020, Center of International Projects of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova), “Open Calls on Intellectual Property-Related Aspects in HORIZON 2020 Programme” (speaker - Victoria Lisnic, Local Contact Point, Center of International Projects of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova), “Open Calls on Security” (speaker - Vitalie Varzari, National Contact Point), etc.
Participants in the roundtable have benefited from a wide range of information about the EU Programme for Research and Innovation - Horizon 2020, and had the opportunity to consult the recommendations of the specialists of the International Projects Centre of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova on the benefits of this Programme.
HORIZON 2020 Programme presents a series of new features to simplify the access to funds, a single set of rules, to reduce the bureaucracy, etc. Horizon 2020 contributes directly to major social challenges identified in Europe Strategy 2020. It will also help to create in Europe a leading position in industrial sector. Horizon 2020 will also boost the excellent scientific basis, essential for sustainability, prosperity and long-term welfare of Europe.
